Interesting but not great
It was interesting to get a glimpse of what it was like in India and South Africa at the turn of the century and it was interesting to understand Ghandis thoughts and background. I don't regret reading it but it was not as illuminating and historically informative as I had hoped. I skipped the first 5 chapters because I was only interested in reading the autobiography. It took a little effort in the beginning to get used to the accent of the narrator, but after a while it was fine.
