Great book
This book nicely covers the main fields in which crucial progress has been made and where knowledge may carry us to the next level in civilization. The best part is that some ideas are very famous even for non-science audience, but the author gives proof that research is actually being made to address those ideas and the up and downs that scientists have encountered in the process. It is nice to see that some of the things described in this book have been verified -or not yet- almost 10 years after publication.
