Story
A young, naïve but ultimately courageous hedge knight, Ser Duncan the Tall towers above his rivals—in stature if not experience. Tagging along is his diminutive squire, a boy called Egg—whose true name is hidden from all he and Dunk encounter. Though more improbable heroes may not be found in all of Westeros, great destinies lay ahead for these two . . . as do powerful foes, royal intrigue, and outrageous exploits. Featuring more than 160 all-new illustrations by Gary Gianni, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a must-have collection that proves chivalry isn’t dead—yet.

Story
The tales of The Silmarillion are set in an age when Morgoth, the first Dark Lord, dwelt in Middle-earth, and the High Elves made war upon him for the recovery of the Silmarils, the jewels containing the pure light of Valinor. Included on the recording are several shorter works. The Ainulindalë is a myth of the Creation and in the Valaquenta the nature and powers of each of the gods is described. The Akallabêth recounts the downfall of the great island kingdom of Númenor at the end of the Second Age, and Of the Rings of Power tells of the great events at the end of the Third Age.

Publisher's Summary
Geralt of Rivia is a witcher. A cunning sorcerer. A merciless assassin.
And a cold-blooded killer.
His sole purpose: to destroy the monsters that plague the world.
But not everything monstrous-looking is evil, and not everything fair is good...and in every fairy tale there is a grain of truth.
The international hit that inspired the video game The Witcher.
Editorial Review
For fans of The Witcher Saga, The Last Wish is where it all began. Dive into this unpausable collection of adventure tales, recounted by the powerful monster hunter, Geralt of Rivia. Before it became a popular video game, a Netflix hit, and a series of best-selling novels, The Witcher appeared in short stories. The Last Wish is author Andrzej Sapkowski’s first collection of action-packed fantasy tales featuring the Witcher. The stories introduce Geralt of Rivia, a revered magical being and ruthless monster hunter. After an epic battle, the weary and injured Geralt rests in a temple and recounts recent troubling events and signs of unrest to come. A must-listen for Witcher fans, this audiobook is full of magic, wonder, danger, and the compelling characters that make up The Witcher universe—dwarves, gnomes, elves, humans, and monsters. Those familiar with the series will relish the chance to experience more of Sapkowski’s Witcher world, and newcomers will quickly be entranced. These beloved characters face trial, tribulation, and triumph in their adventures, quests, and clashes with Geralt’s quarry. Award-winning narrator Peter Kenny reads in an engaging and emphatic tone, which immediately grabs listeners’ attention and draws them in. His passion and emphasis are perfect for portraying this complex and fantastical story, lending excitement and emotion in all the right places. The Last Witch is a wild and wonderful listen—and only the beginning of The Witcher’s story.

Brilliant!
The narrator is awesome. Love him! Excellent book 👍🇨🇦 I found myself dreading the end, even though I know there are more in the series! I just didn't want it to end. Also, I found it impossible to fall asleep to it. Maybe once I've listened a time or two more. Best audio book I've heard yet. so well done.

Great listen!
The narrator did a fantastic job. His pacing and emotions were spot on.
The story was a lot of fun. I can see why a show was made from it and why a videogame was made from it. I look forward to the next book!

The first of eight books
Book 1 of 8, wonderfully performed and a great fantasy tale. If you happen to be a fan of the games set in the world, the books will fill in all the blanks and information about characters that appear there.

A good start to the series.
There is a lot of fairy tale stories in the beginning. But keep with it. The narrator does a good job with feeling the characters. And puts a spin on them.

Amazing book and reading by Peter Kenny
All the stories are great. I like that Geralt’s journey is split up into multiple short stories like the show.

Different than I thought, but amazing. ,
The story is not one linear story, but rather a collections of stories/adventures. Most of the stories mirror the ones from the TV series, but there are a few in this book that week not in the story. Regardless of if you have watched the series, hearing all of these adventures written out adds more depth and understanding to them, and they certainly aren't boring even though you may have seen them on screen.
I highly reccomend this book!
