About this listen
Jayden
At the worst moment, our little toy tries to run from us. She dares to act like she isn’t ours. So, I hunt her down and force her to remember who she belongs to. But she puts up a fight and tries to get under my skin. No one has gotten under my skin except Cole, and she does it so easily. It makes me livid. Angry. Afraid.
Cole
Jayden is losing it. As soon as we get Jo back, we’re forced to run from the law. I watch Jayden fall apart, taking the rest of us down with him.
Mary Jo
I tried to hide, but they found me. The more time I spend with them, the more I find they want to tear me apart and look at what’s inside. My secrets aren’t safe, and neither am I. It all comes down to the question: do I run and hide? Or do I stand strong and face whatever they have to offer me?
Better Hide is the sequel to Better Run in the Run and Hide Duet. It is not meant to be listened to as a standalone. There is dark and disturbing content. Please check the author’s warnings before listening. This book is only suitable for those over 18.

Great narration!
I devoured the first book and started the second book immediately. Unfortunately a DNF for me 1/4 of the way through.
Again another excellent duet narration!
May be your cup of tea though, if you take your tea pitch black ;)

Check your trigger warnings before listening.
I felt like the second book was darker than the first book. We get to see the childhood POV’s of the boys and their trauma which was harder to listen to.
Also some scenes were much darker than the first (The literal water boarding torture and subsequent PTSD was too much for me personally. This scene felt way more hard Non-C than Dub-C which to be completely fair is clearly listed in the trigger warnings! I just mistakenly expected it to be a similar level of dark to the first book which is on me)
This may not be a limit/no for others, who am I to judge! happy reading friends ;)
