A male vampire watches his wife solve his murder in Jocelyn Gray's "The Longest Death of the Year". Sara Dobie Bauer's "Forever Dead" brings us a sarcastic, vamp-hunting detective with an uncomfortable hankering for a hot young vampire. Stories range from mildly titillating to super-hot, with a variety of couplings and ménages. One caveat - not all vampires ask for clear consent, but mostly everyone is enjoying themselves by the end. These stories are erotic horror in nature and should only be consumed by those over 18.

Hot Dark and Bloody! Amazing VAs Great Stories. One very tragic.

So it’s is an incredibly sexy collection of stories roughly centred around vampires. It’s got EVERY KIND of vampire, and it’s got every kind of relationship as well. It most of all it’s dark and often violent and sadistic when the vampire is calling the shots. Knife play and other similar kinks are prevalent as is actual good storytelling and amazing VAs. There is one story that is a tragedy pure and simple and has no romance it but rather deals with the incredibly oppressive and sexist Indian cast system. It’s just pure nastiness and nobody gets a remotely good ending.
