About this listen
“Unapologetically raw and deliciously filthy, Shepherd & Claire's dark, gritty story is an emotional punch to the gut!” (Anna Zaires, New York Times best-selling author)
Every bit as ruthless as his reputation suggests....
Shepherd ravages both Claire and her conquered city, refusing to let either slip through his fingers. He steals Claire's innocence and future by forcing a pair-bond on the rare, unwilling Omega female.
Violent, calculating, and incapable of remorse, he demands his new mate's adoration. Her attention. Her body.

The voice acting was rough.
Not a big fan of cheating with a mate bound main reason I am giving a low review of the story. The voice was bland and too monotone for the book.

Terrible Narration
The narrator is robotic and monotone like AI.
The story is not my jam either. Messy gooey sex and caveman style ownership over women with no redemptive insight into feelings.

Skip the audible and read the book
If you’re a fan of Dark romance, Addison Cain is a must READ - these books are amazing, with fantastic character development and really good world building.
Unfortunately, the narration is horrible - it’s almost robotic and seems to have an echo. The audio is so off putting that I couldn’t make it past the first 10 minutes... and I’ve read and love these books. Such a shame.
