a dark spicy romance with memorable characters you want in your life
“Dirty Filthy Rich Love” is a billionaire romance where Donovan thought he’d never love again but when Sabrina walked into his life in college and again 10 years later, they both go on a wild journey together. It’s the conclusion of the “Dirty Duet” series where it picks up right where Donovan flies away on business. Upon return, he and Sabrina face off and start working out their issues.
They’re not easy issues and not for the faint of heart. Sabrina still has nightmares about her almost-rape in college when Donovan rescued her, while Donovan is still haunted by a tragic past where he blames himself. Why? Because he’s complicated - and the secret about how he loves the ones he loves may seemingly be a destructive trait.
“I love you so much I don’t know how to keep it all inside of me.”
It’s a story about saving the one you love…and accepting the person who is saving you…It’s one thing to express your love to someone, but to fully accept and receive such unconditional love by someone is….well….it’s not easy.
Like with the first book, I did the audiobook and I was happy to know that the narrator remains the same. Elena Wolfe brings Sabrina alive. I’m very much looking forward to continuing my reread in Laurelin’s Dirty Series with both Elena Wolfe and Sebastian York.
(TWs: sexual assault, almost-rape, parental death (mentioned), partner death (mentioned)
