Even if the world did end, five men is far too many to handle. Isn’t it?
Since the Final War, I’ve been doing just fine. I have a lovely cave, a darling vegetable patch, forest views . . . and if loneliness sometimes squeezes my aching heart, well, my books have always kept me company.
That is, until a pack of hunters chase me from my home and right into the arms of several rather large, rather brutish ex-Army Rangers. And those brutes have the nerve to make me the rudest offer I’ve ever heard.
Their protection—for my body.
The whole thing is absurd. Scandalous. Perverted, even. I mean, just the thought of doing that with five men, well, it’s . . . it’s . . .
I take the deal.
Okay, so it’s possible I find them indecently tempting. But these men also have secrets, and pasts so fraught with emotion, I’m not sure I can untangle them all. Or whether they’ll let me.
No, my brutes have made it excruciatingly clear where they think I belong—beneath them, between them, bent over backwards for them . . . but certainly not beside them.
And I don’t think that’s going to work for me.

The Brutes of Bristlebrook is a dark(ish) post-apocalyptic, steamy reverse harem romance series, meaning Eden will end up with three or more love interests after I’ve appropriately obliterated my readers’ nerves.
Expect complex characters, 1st person present tense, multiple POVs, MM in the harem, angst, lots of laughs, and to encounter material that some readers may find sensitive—a full description of which can be found on my author website.

Such a Great Performance!
This was a great book with wonderful character development and storyline. This fabulous cast brought it to life and I love each and every performance. This does end in a cliffhanger so I really look forward to the next book!

The end of society never looked so good
Wow! I don't know exactly what I was expecting from this audiobook, but wow! The story was interesting and well written. It was steamy, but it was an actual good story, not just something written to fill the gaps between scenes. The cast was amazing! Every last one of them. The voices made the characters come to life. Each voice conjured up an image that fit perfectly with their character description. So utterly worth the price and more... even just to listen to Beau speak...

Amazing!
I can’t say anything bad about this audiobook other than that cliffhanger!! The voice acting was amazing and captivating. The full cast really brought the characters to life. And the story kept me hooked. I literally only hit pauses to shower and sleep and even then I didn’t want to stop. I’m really picky with my audio books and only usually leave reviews of ones that really capture my attention and never rent to dish out a high rating over a 4 and this one was a 5 all around. The Duel narration is my favourite kind of audio book and this hit every point I need or want when listening to a story! Worth the read and will leave you wanting book too as soon as your finish.

Beau’s accent, Jasper’s quiet menace, Lucky’s joviality and vulnerability, Jack’s toughness and Dom’s dominance in my ears???? And Eden’s softness and quiet strength?? It all hit different from reading it!!! This was perfection and amazing and honestly the best way to reread the book for me!!! I can’t wait to dive into book 2!!!

What a great story! FMC , Eden is such a wonderful little badass! The MMC’s are PERFECTION. Take me to Bristlebrook!! 🫠🫠🫠The character and relationship development are so good!! Love the post apocalyptic setting. The audio narration in duet is amazing, I cannot even explain how much this all star cast adds to the storytelling. Can I give this book a 10 ?!? 🌟 The cliffhanger is a doozy! The spice is chef’s kiss 💋 🌶️ WORTH THE CREDIT!! Bring on book 2!!
