Sorry, h was a doormat .
I really wanted to like this story but, the was very little discussion about why the H never tried to contact her. We know her parents kept him up to date, but he remains with the ow for 6 yrs. Ow was the person H chose to stay with instead of the planned get together with h. No,I did not believe H loved h, nor did he redeem himself.
