About this listen
When life gives you blood, make mayhem.
Grim. Assassin. Leather-clad sex god. Has the most unusual taste in men.
Misha. Mutilated. Afraid. Will never trust again.
Grim is a bloodthirsty killer, and he owns it. Gay in a world of outlaw bikers, he firmly stands his ground if anyone dares to cross him. He takes pleasure in showing homophobes their place and fucking his way through a life of carnage.
But there is a part of him always aching for something he cannot get. When by chance he saves the most perfect guy he’s ever met, he is not about to let him go. Even if it means he needs to smother his broken bird.
When a masked, bloodstained man rescues Misha from captivity, he doesn’t know if he should thank the menacing stranger or stab him and run. Grim is not the kind of man who takes no for an answer, and Misha might now be in more danger than when he was trapped as a sex slave.
Misha cannot deny though that Grim is as alluring as he is frightening, and once Misha realizes what power his body holds over Grim, he understands that taming the beast of a man could be within his reach.
But any possibility of a future together is like a house of cards when Zero, the sadistic crime lord who destroyed Misha’s life, sets out to get him back.
Will the ruthless biker assassin at Misha’s side be enough to conquer the monsters from his past?
This stand-alone novel is approximately 110,000 words.

Beautifully sick !

I am absolutely a fan of KA Merikan. These characters are so beautifully sick, I am starting to question my own blurred morals. Imagine Dexter with a amputee fetish.
The audiobook cover is fitting for the series. The audio sample sounds good and does represent the narrator's performance perfectly. It was helpful to make a decision to buy the audiobook. I am familiar with the authors, they are on my favourite list.
This book starts with an unplanned rescue. This book is book 8 in the series and although I suspect the attack on the bunker ran from the previous book, I was totally able to listen to this audiobook as a standalone. I was sucked into the story and connected immediately with the main characters.
Grim is a bloodthirsty assassin who thinks he might be a psychopath. He has an amputee fetish and unintentionally saves one of his most watched and admired amputee porn stars.
Misha has been abducted and held as prisoner and forced to perform online pornography.
Grim is gay and an outlaw biker. He feels a unique connection to broken helpless people. He is a homophobes' worst nightmare.
When he rescues Misha from captivity, he doesn’t grasp the nightmare Misha was living as a trapped sex slave. The authors played this plot very well, as this caused me to ponder the situation time and time again. Misha fights Grims advances, which is understandable. Grim is calm in nature and soon Misha understand he is save with Grim no matter what. Misha is a strong character and he never gives up on his right to survive. Together they take on the crime lord responsible for Misha's hellish torture. This book has it all.
Narrator: Wyatt's talent is growing. He performs the emotions and strong language very well. His voice is perfect for badass biker dudes. His breathing and cadence is great. It very easy for me to listen to him and finish the audiobook in one sitting,
I recommend this book if you like the dark, violent and bloody scenes. The language is crude and fitting for the characters. I enjoyed it that way!
