About this listen
Running from his deeply conservative, religious parents, Noah Butler boards a bus to cross the country, praying the birth mother who abandoned him will open her arms in welcome. Once he steps off the bus near midnight, an aggressive stranger has him running for his life. Noah finds safety at the Village, a gay nightclub - the only place nearby open at that hour.
Luckily, he still has that fake ID his best friend got him...and he looks older than 18. Inside the walls, he would be Christopher John Douglass and 22 - and he’d celebrate his birthday with the hot guy behind the bar. If the handsome bartender succumbs to his appalling attempts at flirtation.
Brody Preston takes one glance at the new guy in the Village and wants to know his story. There’s something about Chris that intrigues him. Brody can clearly tell the guy is running from something. His protective instinct screams within - but that’s not the only thing that sets the guy apart. It’s also the inexperienced seduction Chris attempts that has him charmed.
When Noah learns the bartender is the bar owner, he realizes he can’t come clean about who he really is. One-night becomes a week-long affair that ultimately ends when there’s too many questions Noah can’t answer. Again, he runs....
But this time, he runs right back into Brody...because they have a past binding them together. A past neither of them comprehended.
Be prepared for a sexy younger man and his loving daddy, with a little touch of lingerie and BDSM in the mix - this 73,000+ word daddy king book is a mix of erotic heat and romance!

I loved this book. All the drama keeps you not wanting to put it down. The interest def stays consistent throughout the whole thing. Both characters are well developed. Brody was a good "Daddy" considering he claimed to have been burned before and didn't do more than one and done. Noah/Chris is just the cutest with his manties and his story just broke my heart for him. The 2 MCs were great together. They had awesome chemistry. I went into this book cautiously when hearing of family relation. But knowing he only knew the kid for 6 months 14 years ago def makes it easier. This book was even better than the first.
Noah was taken from his birth mom at 4 years old by his abusive/religious/homophobic/psycho father and his equally so step-mom. His stepmom had money and pretty much got away with anything. They treated Noah like crap and lied and said his birth mom didn't want him.
His birth mom went on to marry the other MC Brody and they had a son together but broke it off quickly. Both his mom and his step dad are gay and it was more a deal for her to have another kid.
On his 18th birthday. Noah runs away to his birth mothers town and stops in at a gay club where he meets Brody the bartender (his ex step-dad but its been 14 years so he doesn't remember him). He gives him fake id and says his name is Chris.
They have instant chemistry and they spend a week together. He finally decides to face his mom not knowing if she wants him and thats when it all blows up. Whats worse is the father and step mother come to the town with police claiming he's under age and try to force him back home so his "stepdad" has no choice but to take him home with him again til the smoke clears.
Listening to the audio, the book is just as good as the first time I read it.
