You'd think being abducted by aliens would be the worst thing that could happen to me. And you'd be wrong. Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they've left their cargo of human women - including me - on an ice planet.

Found

And the only native inhabitant I've met? He's big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me....

it's funny cute and surprisingly realistic.

you know for a space fantasy.
this is a charming little tail the characters are fun there's enough humor to really help this balance and the narration for the female lead is brilliant the character herself is great she's taking everything in stride there's a level of sarcasm and of course this is my to her that just makes the whole thing go by really fast and be a lot of fun to listen to the male lead is adorable The Passion of the story is very well done and I like the diversity of the female characters that we've already gotten to see that will lead to the rest of the series.

I would recommend this

Funny and Light

I listen to audio books while working to make time pass faster and honestly, I loved this audio book. It's really funny, light, sweet and sexy.
Also, english is not my first language and the performance was so good I had no difficulty understanding the story. Voice actors are really clear.

Overall, I recommand to anyone who want something fun and light with some nice spicy bits ;)

Big Blue Aliens

It took me a while to actually read this I was not expecting to like it so much. I think I will continue with the series since they are short books.

Funny as hell!!! 😍😂

I locved it so much. I loved the way the female nartator referres to the blue guy as the "P" eating alien and I love her discrtion of things and expressions as to what she would do for food, and when she wanted him to take her up the mountain. I was so making a clown of myself with laughter😂😂😂😂😂😁.

Simple but cute fantasy smut book

After having read books 3-17 only missing the first two, I decided to go back and finish the series just a little out of order.

The other night when I was reading a fantasy smut book I didn’t notice the author was male until it got to the smut, then you realize how it’s nothing but male pleasure dominate.

That’s the reason I decided I needed to go back to finish this series, I missed the female writers attention to female pleasure!

This was a simple book human girls realize they were abducted by aliens and then deserted on a frozen alien planet, only to be cherished by the big blue alien men.

It’s cute and just what I was in the mood for

Really liked it, great start to the series

I started reading IPB out of order. Jumped in to see if I'd like the writing style with Barbarian Mine then sort of continued and doubled back to the start. What I got from the other books of Georgie made me think I wouldn't like her story much. I liked it a lot more than I thought. And appreciate her and Vektal more for sure as the series play out nw that I got to know them better. I also really enjoyed the first encounter with the tribe. What a wild ride and great start to the series. Also loved the narration. Hollies Jackson and Mason Lloyd killed it.

Sweet and Sexy

I enjoyed the story! Easy to keep up with, and set up opportunity for lots of character exploration. Really loved the setting, and the alien hotties of course!

Spice was hot but the rest was cold

No plot summary here! Proceed if you dare...
The Good:
Consent: this played a big part in the story. Georgie and her fellow female captives had little choice to avoid being recaptured by the alien slavers (yes, I feel as silly writing this as you do reading it). Her first meeting with Vektal was also problematic (ie. non-consensual touch) but he quickly took to heart her teachings on the importance of gaining enthusiastic consent (believe me, there were LOTS of opportunities for enthusiastic consent as the story went on) and taught his fellow Sakh kinsmen to respect human females.
Fast: the plotting was fast and the book was short.
Spicy: the spice-to-page-count ratio was definitely high. Georgie and Vektal melted the snow of the ice planet many times with their "rolls in the furs."
Narrators: I appreciate that they went with dual-narrators for this one. I can't imagine it would have been any good with only a single voice actor! The accent that Mason Lloyd gave to Vektal worked for the character.
The Bad:
Retro in a bad way: The vibe felt very "out of touch cis-het white author in the 70s writes a bodice ripper where a woman abducted by a """"barbaric"""" (scare quotes to the max) Indigenous/Black/Non-White man and, despite their differences/language barrier, sexy times ensue." If you can't picture what I mean, search for Silken Savage by Catherine Hart, Sweetwater Saga by Roxanne Dent, or Savage Obsession by Cassie Edwards. Basically, Dixon swapped the "brutish turned stoic and passionate" Indigenous love interest for a blue-skinned alien to circumvent the problematic parts of that very outdated romance subgenre, all while keeping pretty much every other trope, up-to-and-including the "long black hair" on the male lead!
Diversity: The reading I have done on the series suggests that it is very cis-het and white, with a few BIPOC heroines popping up in later books. It also seems that basically every book ends with a pregnancy.

I likely won't be back to the planet of "Not-Hoth" to follow the adventures of this posse of abducted 22 year old women and their alien lovers, but I am glad I finally know what everyone is talking about!

Actually very sweet!

is there a lot of smut? yes. is it a main plot point? yes, and no. the story is interesting and well mapped out. it's not your typical human-human story but it gives a lot to building a believable relationship. the main characters had good chemistry and rapport. I'm very interested in the rest of the series!
