Publisher's Summary

He'd never wanted anyone enough to chase them...until he met her.

Charming, easygoing, and rich beyond belief, Xavier Castillo has the world at his fingertips.

He also has no interest in taking over his family’s empire (much to his father’s chagrin), but that hasn’t stopped women from throwing themselves at him…unless the woman in question is his publicist.

Nothing brings him more joy than riling her up, but when a tragedy forces them closer than ever, he must grapple with the uncertainty of his future—and the realization that the only person immune to his charms is the only one he truly wants.

***

Cool, intelligent, and ambitious, Sloane Kensington is a high-powered publicist who’s used to dealing with difficult clients.

However, none infuriate—or tempt—her more than a certain billionaire heir, with his stupid dimples and laid-back attitude.

She may be forced to work with him, but she’ll never fall for him…no matter how fast he makes her heart beat or how thoughtful he is beneath his party persona.

He’s her client, and that’s all he’ll ever be. Right?

King of Sloth is a steamy forced proximity romance. It's book four in the Kings of Sin series but can be listened to as a standalone.

Patient, understanding, and moving forward to new beginnings

I loved it, I was reading the book at the same time when I listened to the audio it felt like I was watching a movie and I love the chemistry between the characters, I love how sloane is a hard working woman and never holding back to defend herself or the people she cares about. And Xavier is just a gentleman and the way he is patient around her taking it slow, is what the world needs in men these days, I’m sad that it came to an end but I’m excited for Ana Huang next book to come out soon

NARRATORS WERE SO GOOD!

I thought overall this was cute. It was a really easy and quick audiobook to listen to. Xavier was really sweet and charming and Sloane was such a boss-babe! I enjoyed the cameos in this book as well. It was great seeing Alex Volkov (Twisted Love) in this book. I’m looking forward to King of Envy next year!

Tropes:

💰Reverse grumpy/sunshine
💰He falls first
💰Forced proximity
💰Billionaire romance

TW: Mentions of cheating, parental abuse, abandonment, daddy issues, death, trauma.

Love the duet narration

I specifically remember Ana Huang posting on instagram about how Sloth was the hardest sin to write about but still make enticing. I'm here to declare that regardless of how difficult it was for her to write, she executed it SO well!

I loved this book. We have a strong hard working type A alpha-female. I absolutely loved her. She was a total boss babe absolutely crushing it while making her own way in the world through her PR business rather than giving in to her family that have treated her terribly.

Then we have a very laid back and entirely unmotivated MMC who is all charm and no effort. He has never had a job and had no intention of taking over his father's company. But when his father passes and the will is read, this is where he finds his motivations.

These two balanced each other out perfectly. He helped her let her hair down while she inspired him to do hard things, even when he wants to give up.

I am absolutely LOVING that this series is being done in duet narration. It is my favourite way to listen, and this performance was perfection!
