About this listen
Storm's younger cousin. Vandal's little brother. You've met him in the background. The sweet one. The nice one. The one they can all rely on. In short, the good one.
He's a tattoo artist. He plays metal and classical music - on the violin. He's got a body built for sin. And he's 24.
In comes Ivy. She's a 36-year-old single mom who hasn't dated in 18 years. All she wanted was a tattoo. She got a whole lot more.
Contains mature themes.

Exceptional
Carian Cole is one of my best Indie author, from the first moment I read her books, with Lukas she gave me the perfect gothic romantic experience. As always the way of molding her characters is exceptional. The choice of male and female narrators was really spot on. I think both gave their all into narrating the way Carian envisioned it. I would definitely recommend the audiobook and the book itself. Hopefully she will write a follow up story to Lukas at some point. if you haven't read her books, you need to definitely do it soon!

The narrators really sold this for me.
Lukas is a very sexy, adorable men who loves with his whole heart. Ivy had to indore the most heart breaking thing you can think of by being left by your husband for a younger girl. What a blow to the ego.
I don't really like insta love/lust and when the couple get together but Lukas was very insistent for her to be with him and I did love he really knew what he wanted and didn't play games.
But the third act really bothered me and I didn't like the way it was handled but I really love this world and the characters and the ending was very unique. Tatiana who narrated Ivy was fantasic and Nelson Hobbs who also narratored did a good job as well and his women voice was very pleasant.

It was okay no bad but not great
I really wanted to love them & this story but it just wasn’t my thing.
She 37 newly divorced from a cheating husband & has 2 kids. Her daughter 18 is closer to her 24 year old boyfriends age then her. Which is not the end of the world if it wasn’t for that 1 scene 😳 yuck I wouldn’t trust her again if I was him and it’s hard to be the perfect new family with her around!
The mom was always very down about herself talking about having gained weight & asking her ex if it would of helped if she lost weight or went to the gym, then a few weeks later talking to her best friend about how she just gained 10 more pounds. It got annoying hearing her put herself down and to her new boyfriend. In the other books the little bit we saw of her she didn’t seem so insecure all the time.
The book was okay but he almost seemed too good for her, he has a heart of gold and she won’t hear him out. I don’t know it’s not horrible but not great either
