Publisher's Summary

After two of her brothers are killed in battle with the relentless alien menace that threatens the entire Interstellar Coalition, Sarah Mills volunteers to join the fight in an effort to bring home her last surviving brother. When she is mistakenly processed as a bride rather than a soldier, however, she rejects the match. But her mate has other ideas….

Dax is an Atlan warlord, and like all the men of his race, a primal beast lurks within him, ready to emerge in the fury of battle or the heat of the mating fever. When he learns that his bride has chosen to fight on the front lines rather than share his bed, he sets out to track her down and take what the beast demands.

Sarah is none too pleased when a massive brute claiming to be her mate arrives suddenly in the midst of a battle, and her displeasure turns to fury when Dax’s presence disrupts her mission and leads to the capture of her brother. But after her commanding officer refuses to authorize a rescue mission, Sarah’s best hope of saving the only family she has left is to accept Dax’s offer to help, even if that means giving herself to him in return.

Though he is thrilled to have located his wayward bride, Dax quickly discovers that Sarah is nothing like the meek, submissive women of his world. If he wants her, he will have to tame her, with a firm hand applied to her bare bottom if necessary. But Dax doesn’t just want Sarah, he needs her. Can she satisfy the fearsome beast within him before he loses control completely?

Publisher’s note: Mated to the Beast is the fifth book of the Interstellar Brides series. It is an erotic romance novel which includes spankings and sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please do not listen to this audiobook.

Great story... interesting twists!

Great story ... amazing book in the series or as a standalone. Passionate from start to finish and the different story locations added so many interesting twists. Can't wait for the next book.

I Loved it!!

This book was awesome, great fun action packed book with a strong kick ass women & a fun love story with amazing spice 🥵

Having made a promise to her father on his death bed that she would bring back her last brother from the war, with her other 2 brothers having already died by the hive.

She goes to enlist to the front lines but when there’s a new girl at the Center she tests her not for the front lines but to find her mate match across the universe. Since it’s not what she wants she put on the frontlines and finds and fights alongside her last brother. That is until he’s taken and she has to save him.

Her mate is a war general who has gone into mating fever, if he doesn’t mate soon he will have to be put down like most of the men of his kind. His body literally gets bigger as he goes into a frenzy where he could kill friends or foe.

She agrees to mate either him so he can help her get her brother back when everyone else wrote him off as dead. She amazes him at every turn with her fighting skills, strategy & flying.

This book was a great mix of story & spice 🥵👏

How is this rated so high?

Nothing against the narrators but the story was the worst I've ever read/ listened to. I was excited for find an author with a large back cataloged of stories. Figured since I've read every Ruby Dixon I could go through this series. The writing is very poor. Within the first 3 chapters the author keeps repeating the exact same points and dialogue which do not forward the story. Also no clue what anyone looks like. Just how sexual they are or aren't. Characters are shallow and there is nothing to hold a reader. If there is a decent plot/ idea here the bad writing kills it. I DNF at ch 5. and I will not continue with this authors works. And I'm the type who can sacrifice plot for good characters, this really has nothing going for it. The spice wasn't great either. And I did listen long enough to get there because surprise it opens with a "spicy" scene. More power to those that can enjoy this but it's not for me.
