Publisher's Summary

We are told God will punish the wicked; that sinful men will reap what they sow. We are told to scourge our souls with prayer and pain to become clean once again.

Well, here I am. Wicked and sinful. Desperate to become clean - even though it feels so good to be dirty.

But even I never expected what came next. Even I never expected my punishment to come so soon.

Midnight Mass is a novella and a sequel to Priest. It’s intended for mature audiences only.

A good follow up

This was an interesting follow up to Poppy and Tyler’s life together. Not as intense as Priest, of course, but a good addition to the story.

If only…

If only it was a true duet!!! Other than that a great follow up to priest! Not quite as hot and sizzling but genuinely appreciated the dealing of a difficult situation in this shorter follow up and appreciated the author’s notes at the end. Jacob & Elena were fantastic in their performances but really wish they had each read their respective parts throughout! That’s where points are lost for me as a listener!

A sultry and sizzling hot story...

Tyler is struggling with his guilt and is at a crossroads. Tyler and Poppy's love is tested after a tragedy happens and puts their love and marriage at risk. A delectable and seductive story. Jacob Morgan did a spectacular narration from Tyler's POV.

This woman is god-tier

Im not sure any novella has a right to be this spicy, story driven, beautifully written and downright compelling. And yet this book exists

Just as addictive as the first one!

Just as addictive as the first book, but with an additional layer of undercurrent. That undercutting leads to a meaningful message from the author to society.

I still believe that the author should have stuck with her guns, hence why I disagree with the ending of the epilogue. She should have kept the controversial ending, it makes the story more authentic and meaningful.

*The next paragraph contains SPOILERS*
As a non-christian the ending of the story was really meaningful for me as it gave me an insight into the religion and gave me more context for the heavy stigmas and destructive beliefs associated with miscarriages.

Was just as great as the first book

This was just as a great second to the first book.
Never knew I might have a priest kink
