About this listen

This is every omega’s dream…right? Waking up in a stranger's bed and discovering I’m married to one of the wealthiest men on the planet sounds like some crazy dream. Discovering that the man in question is also some holy hot alpha and we’re not only married but bonded, sounds like one of those dreams that turn pretty steamy–a dream many women would give their right arm to be living. But when the alpha whisks me back to his mansion in the city of Rockview, I also discover this alpha has a pack. A pack convinced this wasn't some drunken accident. A pack determined to believe I’m a gold digger out to part them with their gigantic piles of cash. Maybe this isn’t such a dream situation after all. And maybe that would be fine if my battered omega heart wasn't falling for the five alphas involved.

*** This novel is part one of a duet–happy ending coming in part two. If you love the sauciness and steam of omegaverse with the sweetness of contemporary romance, heroes with hard shells and soft interiors, and heroines who fight for what they want, you’ll love Hannah Haze’s soft and steamy omegaverse books set in our world.

Declan's voice gave me the ick and also buyers remorse.

For the love of reader's theater!!

Why is Scooter the Muppet Stage-hand telling anyone to choke on his rooster?

Who thought it was a good fit to cast knock off Lego Bat Man?

If I wanted to feel uncomfortable and skeeved out by (apparently) a teenage horn-dog with a breaking, squeaky, juvenile, voice... well, I'd be a sketchy deviant and possibly in jail!! EWWW. No. Just no.

Hannah spun up a delicious, fun, sexy omegaverse and has peopled it with hot, desirable, easy to enjoy characters who go down like refreshimg yet familiar summer drinks on the thirstiest of days. Honestly, it feels kinda disrespectful, both to the author, and to the readers (who expect a sexy man's voice to speak for the sexy male characters) to cast a profoundly unerotic voice to narrate an erotic novel.

I liked the story enough to skip the sex scenes to hear it.

Because the ick factor clinging to Declan's voice (and Jonah's to a lesser extent) made me grimace and cringe throw up in my mouth a little.

--please no! its all flashbacks Gilbert Gottfried narrating 50 Shades--

So, other than that ONE LITTLE THING, this is a pretty cozy story and was, overall enjoyable.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
