It's a complex and messy situation as Duke and Quick figure out how to still be best friends when one of them is sleeping with his friend's one and only son. But when Duke is hurt on the job, all the unimportant trivialities fall to the wayside and Vaughan and Quick put their heads together to save Duke.

YES PLEASE!!!!!!! Sweet and SPICY...
LOVE, love, LOVED this book and so damn excited for the entire series!!! Excellent narration!!! Hot!!! I like the storyline and found the characters lovable. I like the transition from this book to the next aswell!

I DEVOURED, the previous 5 book serie "Nothing Special" and was so damn glad to see there was a 5 book spin off. I'm a bi cis woman and these books coupled with Aiden Snow's voice put me in a state ... 🥵 AMAZING! I can't wait to listen to that buttery voice for the next 30+ hours of pure gold coming. A.E Via, please don't stop writing these. Every single story has been beautiful, hot and so motivating.
I'd listen to these on a loop for the rest of my life.

Narrator Aiden Snow and author A.E. Via managed to accomplish total obliteration of all future enjoyment of life until books 2 and 3 becomes available! The cherry on the fucking cake is that no one bothered to warn me about the pending annihilation. The indefectible delivery by Aiden, the way he uses his smokey deep voices for these stupidly sexy alpha males, is causing me to go rabid, wanting to tear up, hump, drool and link anything with a bulge.
So, my mama taught me to do onto others what I want to be done to myself.
WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!
Before you listen to this book, make sure your Rabies shots are up to date! It’s not that it ends in a cliffhanger, the fact that I go lyrical is that it is so fucking short and I want more.
I absolutely recommend this audiobook. I want you to experience the same type of sudden unsatisfiable hunger for alpha men.
