About this listen
A lost virgin vampire queen. Two vampire knights sworn to protect her. It's about to get very hot... and bloody...
Ever since her mother was murdered by monsters five years ago, Shara Isador has been on the run. Alone, scared, and exhausted, she's finally cornered in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Out of hope with nowhere else to turn, she's ready to end it all when two men come to her rescue. They say she's a lost queen descended from Isis, and they're her Blood - vampire knights sworn to protect her. It all seems like a crazy nightmare, until the alpha offers his blood. Then she realizes she's never wanted anything more. Except maybe his body... and his friends', too.
But they're not the only ones searching for a lost queen. Shara must learn how to wield her new powers quickly and conquer her fears if she intends to keep them all alive. Contains mature themes.

Interesting take in Vampire lore
I had been hesitant to purchase this audiobook. The over the top mention of blood and audiobook cover made me uncertain. Even the preview made me unsure.
But I was very pleased with my purchase, it exceeded my expectation and I'm very much looking forward to listening the other book in the serie.
The concept is a very interesting twist to the usual Vampire Lore which I quite enjoyed. There is some light gore I guess to a certain extent (those with light stomach beware), reverse harem definitely with a mix of M/M MMF etc. A slow build up but properly manage to put the bases for a multi book series.
Great mix of Suspense, Paranormal Romance and touch of Erotica.
Narration was Great !! 👍 👌

Nail biting adventure
Was definitely a nail biting adventure right from the start, hanging on ever magical imaginative word hanging in there wondering what was going to happen next & what goes bump into the night!?
Only part that through me a little bit was changing of the reader, (from Cassandra Myles to Tristan James,) it sorta through off my flow for the book a little when they changed. I do understand that it was from one character's point of view to the next in the story, however it did put me a bit of a loss at times. I do love books, (especially Mystery/Thrillers, ) that change up points of view's or have multiple twists & curves throughout.
Definitely, definitely planning on listening too & a very good book worth it's weight in gold!! I'm planning on getting the whole set!!

Straight to the Sexy Times
Cute naughty read. It does lack a believable story to start and made me feel unable to connect to the way the main character was behaving. The author does start to provide a more compelling and layered story later into the book, that hooked me. I am willing to give the second book a chance.

Interesting so far
I’ve read lots of vampire books but this has a unique twist.
Our female protagonist has been on the run for years after her mother and father were killed by demons. She works odd jobs and always keeps running until one night when she is saved by her two “knights” or bloods.
She finds out that she’s not really human and her parents weren’t who she thought.
There’s a power up between her and her men when they mate and share blood. It’s interesting the spice is great but very messy! I’ve never seen a vampire book where they love to basically mate and roll around in their blood.

Has Potential
The narration is pretty good. The story has potential, I think maybe I just wasn’t in the right mood. For me it was just ‘meh’. I may or may not continue the series.

Not for me.. DNF
Didn't finish, it was getting a little too cringy and cheesy for my taste. I'm sure a vampire book lover might like it but it wasn't for me. Steamy scenes were it.
