Different narrator ruined it

They switched up narrators from the first book which completely changes the feel of the story. I was hooked in the first book and really wanted to find out what happens next but only lasted about 30% before I’d had enough.

you have to get used to a new voice

it took a while to get used to the new narrator's voice. when free listening to the series in order the change is narrator is very obvious
