WOW! What a journey
The narrators are superb! They play all the characters beautifully. YES YES YES
The story is very interesting. and really all the details are needed. Yes some can be ignored but it all comes together and makes perfect sense and just makes the story that much more exciting.
You have to feel for the demons everyone fights: Dahlia with her tormented past and the fight she has to endure- the tug of war over her heart, attention & life
Lucian's dark demons and pressure of being the first born.
Gabriel fighting his mental demons.
Raphael with his lust and jealousy.
It was a full circle emotional journey- like legit you hit every single emotion possible.
HUGE WARNING!!! DO NOT listen / read if you are not in a safe, sound, clear AND open mind set, spiritual need and control over your body. I am serious. There is a lot of talk about mental illness in various forms including self harm & OCD. Filled with past SA and the demons that come along with that. Killings. confinement.... just do not purchase of you are not safe for whatever reason.
That being said, I LOVED this book. it was a stand alone and I am interested in the others in the series by other authors. Yes I recommend it.
