About this listen

Jessie Heaton is a fearless, flame-haired computer hacker. Independent and feisty, she’s relied on no one but herself since the age of sixteen.

Working for the Russians, she is finally close to getting the one thing she wants most in life, when she’s stopped in her tracks by the notorious Ryan brothers.

The Ryans are Irish Mafia. They are unstoppable. No one stands in their way. And nothing comes between a Ryan and his family.

That is, until the hurricane that is Jessie crashes into their lives. With a world full of secrets and a past that she can’t outrun, will she be their salvation or their downfall?

Ryan Rule is book one in the New York Ruthless series, a reverse harem, dark mafia romance. It deals with mature themes that may be triggering for some listeners, and it ends on a cliffhanger.

Spicy Irish Guys

I enjoyed the story and characters, but the biggest detractor was the performances by both narrators BUT ESPECIALLY Hollie Jackson, that completely ruined it for me. Maybe it was because I just finished another Sadie Kincaid audiobook with awesome narrators doing dual narration, but this audio experience was a complete fail for me. I’ve no idea how this has earned so many top stars as an audio book!! Bottom line - I’m sorry I invested one whole Audible credit on this book despite listening to a sample audio before purchase. I think I’m better off sticking to the author’s dark romance mafia stories or e-book versions of the remaining books in this series.

The BEST

I’ve reread the entire series (including the short stories) numerous times but hearing it…. Made it 10 times better!

Decent story, very spicy

The spice is top notch and I like the storyline but I feel like it doesn't need 4 books to tell it. Seems to be unnecessarily dragged out. Will be getting the next 3 to see how it goes though.

Spicy! 🌶️🌶️🌶️

If you're looking for a mediocre plot with TONS of super spicy smut, this is the book for you! Provided you can get past the woman's voice, who reads this book like she's a former sportscaster.

Hot

Best book I have heard in a very long time. But… the voices keep throwing me off.

Scorching Start with a Shocking Cliffhanger

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Heat Level: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
📚E-BOOK📚&🎧AUDIO🎧

After falling in love with Sadie Kincaid's writing in *The Perfect Fit*, I couldn’t resist diving into her entire catalogue. According to the buzz online, the New York Ruthless series was the place to start, and *Ryan Rule* definitely made an impact as Book 1 of 5. Fair warning: most of the books in this series, including this one, end in cliffhangers, so be prepared!

The story kicks off at a slower pace but quickly heats up to scorching levels. Jessie, the fearless and bold computer hacker, intrigued me from the start, though I couldn’t help but find her a bit too trusting at times, which added a layer of naïveté to her strong-willed persona.

Now, let’s talk about the Ryan brothers. So far, Conor has taken the lead as my favorite, followed closely by the twins, Liam and Mikey. And then there’s Shane—grumpy, infuriating, and the source of so many conflicting emotions. He’s making my blood boil in all the right (and wrong) ways.

With the explosive cliffhanger that *Ryan Rule* ended on, I’m diving straight into Book 2. Thankfully, the entire series is already written because cliffhanger endings are not my favorite. If you’re a fan of dark mafia romance with intense heat, this series is shaping up to be an addictive ride.
