About this listen
Water, shelter, food, and protection. And one other thing....
When our transport crash-lands on a hostile world full of monsters and death, it's up to me, the only man on the planet, to use my strength and wits to keep the women alive.
With danger lurking around every bend and the world itself against us, what am I supposed to do with five very different, but very beautiful women?
Gain their trust. Keep them alive. Fight off the monsters.
And take advantage of whatever private moments the girls and I can find.
After all, we could die at any time.
Contains mature themes.

pretentious
the author is trying to make the main character sound like Riddick, but with a much higher charisma. by chapter 5 they still haven't discussed why a so-called "dangerous prisoner" is on the transport in the first place. they haven't even said what his crime is, other than him snidely making a comment about the fact that he was "in the wrong place at the wrong time". The character could be a serial rapist and we're supposed to root for him, right off the bat.
the dialogue is really stilted and unrealistic as well. it seems like the author has never actually been thirsty before. the narrator comments that the main character is nearly dehydrated and has been walking for several hours without water, in a hot sandy environment, yet when he comes upon other survivors he starts chatting them up like he's in a club. exposition is not always a bad thing
