An emotional roller coaster of the best kind

I went into this book thinking it would be just another alpha male romance. I don't get surprised very often, but I happily did here. This had a fantastic story. While a HEA was predictable, the way we got there was wonderful. While the sexy scenes were written very well, I am so impressed with the way this author developed the main characters and support characters and didn't make the story work around the sexy scenes but rather made it part of the natural flow of the book. By making them wait and talk about their pasts beforehand, it made the story more believable and realistic. I will definitely be reading more books y this author.
