About this listen
It's just over a week until Sam will be Binding with Jared, and the only thing she wants is to spend that time relaxing and preparing for the ceremony. Unfortunately, she seems to be asking too much of fate, because suddenly she's lumbered with a number of distractions that have the potential to postpone, or even cancel, the Binding.
There's a guarded fiance to crack, a complicated assignment to deal with, Jared's ex to alienate, and a bunch of snobbish Master Vampires to win over - or offend, whichever. On the upside, things couldn't possibly be any worse, could they? Actually, yes they could.
Due to a cruel twist of fate, something strange is happening to Sam - something that is changing her in ways she doesn't like or understand. With the help of Jared and those closest to her, she has to not only handle the threats to the Binding Ceremony, but find a way to fix what has been done to her - and fast.

Must read!!!
I thought the first book was good. This one had my emotions in shambles. The narrators did an excellent job and their voices are lovely.

Pretty interesting & good spice
I definitely thought book two was going to be about his twin and his love interest, but I was wrong and I’m good with at. We do see them again in this book so I know it’s coming.
We met some new characters and Sam comes into even more power’s making her even more of a force to be reckoned with.
There action, adventure, a little heartache, friendship & lots of love.
My biggest pet peeve is when he keeps calling Sam a bi*ch even if it’s meant as a joke it just feels so wrong!

I jumped right into book 2 after finishing book 1, the story between Sam and Jared, their powers and all the different types of vampires is so interesting. Love the spice and would love this to be a movie!!
