About this listen
She takes my breath away; she is so beautifully damaged. Yes, I had broken her, ravished her life, and destroyed her happiness. I brought her to the ultimate despair. I was responsible for all the pain and suffering that now brought her to her knees in front of me. Broken. Hopeless. Reckless in her agony.
She is a mirror of my own tortured soul. But what I took away I can give back, in ways she cannot even begin to imagine. She is everything right in all my wrongs. She loves me. She needs me. She has no idea I'm the one who wrecked her life.
Contains mature themes.

5 stars until her epilogue
Not all of this was a favourite theme for me but was so well written it had to be five stars ... until our heroine becomes a manipulative, conniving, negative character with an interior story that does not match the entire rest of the book.... it’s as though the alt ending was accidentally included without any supporting amendments in the text.

Great
Yup, I loved it. It’s sad and sexy. Can cause those with depressive issues to revert back into old habits. There is cutting and drug abuse and severe depression in this book.
Be advised.

Love Heals
Having read this in 2022 and listening to its audio a year later hits differently. Pulls at the heartstrings that much more!

Carian Cole does it again.
Vandal is a very damaged man, he had a rough past and what happened at the beginning of this story just pushed him over the edge.
The ending was so unexpected it shook me to my core. I love that this wasn't indicated as I hate that troupe but if it's done well it really hits.
it's not a full 5 star as I wasn't completely obsessed with it and Vandal was really terrible at times but I understood why.

Loved it except for the epilogue… I feel like it dosen’t fit with her personnalily very well. Except for that the rest is pretty great !

Good story & spice!
I enjoyed this book more than book 1, even though it was predictable and I knew who the love interest would be there was still a fun twist at the very end of the book.
There was a terrible car accident that killed the only person he ever loved & in the cemetery he was faced with his actions in the wailing sobs of a grieving widow.
There was heartbreak & discovery. Sub & Dom dynamics and good spice. The sweetest little kitten that I think was just the icing on the cake for both of them!
Then the inevitable fall out & the sweetest come back.
