Adrian lives in the UK with his wife and children. Born in Yorkshire, he's spent time living in Essex, Oxford, Leicestershire and York. At 18 he joined the British army and spent 6 years as a soldier in the infantry. His service included several tours of Northern Ireland, Kenya, Belgium, Norway and an operation with the special forces in Sierra Lione. His love of fantasy began with reading Tolkien, Terry Brookes, Terry Pratchett and Stephen King - continuing on to The Wheel of Time, Robin Hobb, J.K Rowling, Brandon Sanderson, Joe Abercrombie and many others. He has many titles, including The Daughter of Chaos series, the Dylap trilogy and The Bane of the North series - Gallows born having become an Amazon bestseller since its release in March. When he's not reading or writing he likes to spend time with his wife, children and grandchildren - searching for fairies and playing pirates.
