Aidan Lucid, a native of Ballyheigue, County Kerry, Ireland, embarked on his writing journey in 2002 after experiencing a profound spiritual event. From 2004 to 2008, his short stories, poems, and articles found homes in both local and international anthologies and magazines. Having been traditionally published twice, Aidan chose to venture into self-publishing in 2022. This decision bore fruit as two of his books received prestigious awards: “The Lost Son (Second Edition)” earned the Silver Titan Literary Award in July 2023, and “A Beast Within” earned the Gold Titan Literary Award in April 2024 for excellence in storytelling and character development. Aidan is the author of two YA series: “The Hopps Town Quadrilogy” (YA horror) and “The Zargothian Saga” (YA fantasy). When he's not immersed in writing, Mr. Lucid enjoys reading, going to the movies with his wife Claire, listening to music, and indulging in video games on his PS5.
