Despite having had a number of challenges as a child, I survived, overcame, and prospered. And not just a survived, I went on to found several successful businesses, earn three black belts in karate, travel all over the USA and Europe, learn a couple of foreign languages, learn and be successful in online marketing, and become a real estate investor, among other achievements. And I'm a heck of a cook, although these days almost everything I eat is unprocessed plant based. I am the author of a number of books, waiting in the queue to be published. In my first book, The Diet Fallacies, I describe my struggle with food, how I overcame food addiction, and how I've maintained this weight over the last 35+ years. I have taken a new direction, though: all my life I've been writing poetry, and it is now time to start publishing it. Beginning with "Notes from the Hero's Journey", I will be releasing a number of books of original poetry, all addressed to the questions of the purpose of life, both our individual lives and that of life on this planet. If you have questions--deep, inner sincere questions-- and a longing for the unknown, please check out my work. What eventually will be a series begins with "Notes from the Hero's Journey". If you are interested in finding out more about this poetry venture, please visit me at aldavis.me.
