Alec McGalliard was born and raised in Lenoir, NC. He has over thirty-three years of experience in the nuclear energy industry including six years in the United States Naval Nuclear Submarine Force. He is a first-time author with a modest goal of wanting to use his passion for great leadership to help others be better leaders. Alec's inspiration for writing CARE To Lead is his belief that as leaders we should treat others as we would want to be treated- the Golden Rule. He recently started his own consulting business, McGalliard Consulting, and is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer. Alec holds a Master of Science Degree in Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology. Alec now lives in Bay City, Texas with his wife Carrie and has two children, Grant a Texas Christian University graduate and Chloe a current Texas A & M student.
