Alexander Shalom Joseph writes fiction, poetry and hybrid works. It's said in the Talmud that there are three ways to be a good Jew: study, prayer and acts of loving kindness– Alexander Shalom Joseph thinks of his writing and work as a teacher as a mix of all three. His Novella "The Last of the Light" is forthcoming from Orison Books in 2022. His collection of short stories "American Wasteland" Was published by Owl Canyon Press. His chapbook, Buttons and Bones, was published by Above/Ground Press in 2021. Alexander has an MFA, MA and an old, white pickup truck. He lives in a cabin in the mountains of Colorado.
