Alicia J Evans is a resident of Hollis, New York. She was a New York City Transit Authority Bus Operator for over 25 years. She is a graduate of Queens College where she received her bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Creative Writing. Through her love of reading, she co-founded Sugar & Spice Book. Under her guidance Sugar & Spice Book Club spearhead several community givebacks. Alicia also has a love of writing, she enjoys spinning tales to tell a story. Alicia self-published her Debut novel I Deserve in 2022. Her love of creative writing propelled her to enter her short stories into different literary contests and to be published in LaGuardia Community Colleges online magazine, The Lit. She loves entertaining family and friends, and she can always be found surrounded by those she loves.
