Amanda Roscoe Mayo is a curator of contemporary culture, podcast producer, radio station director, and music enthusiast. She got her start in radio with NPR station Marfa Public Radio in very far West Texas. In that vast and beautiful desert, she caught the interviewing bug and has ridden the wave into podcasting. From 2012-2014 she was a contributing music, art, and film writer for KQED Arts – the online publication for San Francisco NPR station KQED. Additionally, she was a music journalist for Consequence of Sound and other publications. Since 2014 she has been a dual Production and Features Director at Chicago Independent Radio Project (CHIRP) in Chicago, where she manages an award-winning weekly artist interview podcast. Amanda is the founder of, How to Podcast, a podcasting coaching business where she uses her industry expertise to guide clients through the process of developing and implementing a podcast from the ground up at www.amandaroscoemayo.com
