“My Purposehood Guiding Star statement: I will inspire people to discover and live this existential purpose with unleashed potentiality, therefore, I will live my Purposehood with unleashed potentiality.” Ammar sought fulfillment at a young age by exploring anthropology and world religions spending ten years with Sufi masters and religious scholars, studying, teaching, and subsequently serving as a cleric. Later he focused on entrepreneurship, where he pursued success by starting and seed-investing in over thirty businesses, four of which are led by members of YPO, a global leadership community of chief executives. Ammar's startup spirit extended to volunteering in YPO, where he is a founding member of eleven chapters spanning four continents, positively impacting their communities. He also founded the YPO Change Makers Club where members and spouses share their expertise with the wider community. Ammar holds an engineering degree from the University of Central Florida, and he is a Harvard Business School alumnus from “The President’s Program in Leadership.” After a near-death experience followed by an eleven-year deep dive into the meaning of life, today Ammar is focused on working with volunteers and professionals to spark a Purposehood movement to inspire people to transform their lives and the world by discovering and living their existential purpose with unleashed potentiality. Ammar shares The Purposehood Method™ in workshops, talks, and courses based on his best selling book “Purposehood: Transform Your Life, Transform the World”. Join the movement at Purposehood.org
