Andre was born in Long Island, New York. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia when he was "too young to remember" and claims the city that is "too busy to hate" as his home. He has one older brother who resides in Los Angeles, California. The author and his brother were reared in a strict upbringing where education and spirituality were core values in their childhood development. Andre has self-published ten titles and is a co-star on WETV's hit reality show 'Braxton Family Values'. His most recent title, 'A Profile in Black', received a bronze medal in the national category of Urban Fiction from the Independent Publisher Book Awards for 2015. 'She Knows' is Andre's newest fictional novel, released on November 11, 2016.
