Andrea Abreu Andrea Abreu (Tenerife, 1995) studied journalism at La Laguna University and moved to Madrid in 2017 to study a master. Since then she has worked as an intern, a waitress, and a clerk for a prestigious lingerie brand. As a journalist she has been (and still is) a regular contributor for Tentaciones-El País, LOLA (BuzzFeed), Vice, Zenda and Quimera, among others. Prior to publishing her groundbreaking debut, PANZA DE BURRO, Andrea Abreu has built a promising and solid career as a poet and has written a fanzine on endometriosis, PRIMAVERA QUE SANGRA. In 2021, Andrea Abreu has been included in Granta's new selection in a decade of the Best of Young Spanish Language Novelists.
