Anirudha (pronounced : Aniruddha) Bhattacharjee was born in the 1960s in India , grew up in Patna, studied engineering at IIT, Kharagpur, and at Jadavpur University, Calcutta. With a chequered career in industries more than one, he currently works as an SAP consultant. His deep interest in music and cinema made him take up writing as a hobby, and his first published book "R D Burman, the Man the Music", won the National Award for Best book on cinema at the 59th National film awards. He continues to write on subjects associated with Indian cinema and music of the 1940s through to the 1970s. He has authored five books as of February 2023. Anirudha is a singer by hobby, and spends time watching films and soccer matches with his family. He partly subscribes to the lifestyle propagated by his guru "Kishore Kumar". I don't smoke, drink, or socialize.
