It started with a romantic suspense story in her head that demanded to be written. Ready to tackle fiction after writing many published magazine “how to articles” Adams attended workshops and conferences, and joined writer’s groups. That was almost sixteen years ago. She quickly discovered the techniques are a world apart. Over the next years there were many rewrites of this story, finally resulting in "Devil's Dance" and "The Devil's Due." Along the way, a funny thing happened. She and her sister, also a published writer, launched an award-winning comical crime caper series written as Morgan St. James and Phyllice Bradner. Light and funny, these were far different than the still unfinished books. However, Adams found writing the funny mysteries and other short stories provided the humorous breaks she needed to finish the spine-tingling tale contained in these two books--one that had been with her for so long. Adams and her husband split their time between homes in Las Vegas and Southern California where she is very active in writers groups. She has three grown children, all married to wonderful spouses, and three grandchildren. A workaholic, Adams is constantly working on a minimum of two to three projects, and looks forward to many more books and short stories in the future. Besides the second book in this new Twist of Fate series, "The Devil's Due," to be released in Septemer 2010, watch for the short story “Welcome to Paradise” co-authored with Meredith Holland in the upcoming anthology "Dreamspell Revenge," from her publisher L&L Dreamspell.
