Ashley is an inspirational poet and bestselling author of "In the Heart of the Light; poetry of awakening. She grew up in Port Credit, a waterfront village near Toronto, Canada. At 17, she began practicing yoga & meditation; her sensitive heart, the fuel that led her deep into exploring the mysteries & philosophies of the healing arts. After earning an unrelated bachelors degree, she was far more taken with a love of adventure and her curiosity of yoga, life and art widened. She spent the next two decades writing, travelling, living and working both in the hospitality industry and as a yoga/meditation teacher in different countries all over the world. Ashley is now a full time artist writing collections of poetry while also lending her vibrant & soothing voice as a professional voice actor. In addition to voicing various projects for commerce, film and tv she spends time in her studio crafting meditation, song & spoken word tracks. She writes from love, about resilience, her raw words, take you on a journey through the light and dark parts of yourself and the feelings of being human. Her imaginative and visual style of writing is like part love letter, part sage wisdom, part intimate diary entry. You'll be uplifted, intrigued and inspired by turning the pages in her poetic medicine. Ashley lives in North Vancouver, Canada, tucked into the mountains with her loves.
