Ava Chin is the author of "Mott Street: A Chinese American Family's Story of Exclusion & Homecoming" (Penguin Press), which Publisher's Weekly described as "stunning," and the NY Times called "sensitive, ambitious, well-reported." Kirkus deemed her award-winning debut memoir "Eating Wildly" (Simon & Schuster) "A delectable feast of the heart." Chin's writing has appeared in the New York Times ("Urban Forager"), the Washington Post, the Village Voice, Saveur, and SPIN magazine, among others.
