Barbara Pachter is an internationally-renowned business etiquette and communications speaker, coach and author of 11 books. She has delivered more than 2900 seminars throughout the world including the first-ever seminar for businesswomen in Kuwait. Pachter is also adjunct faculty in the School of Business at Rutgers University and Coadjutant Lecturer in the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. Her latest book, "The Communication Clinic: 99 Proven Cures for the Most Common Business Mistakes," was published in 2017 (McGraw Hill). The second edition of Pachter’s highly-acclaimed book, "The Power of Positive Confrontation" (Da Capo Press), was released in 2014. Her 10th book, "The Essentials of Business Etiquette: How to Greet, Eat, and Tweet Your Way to Success" (McGraw Hill), was published in 2013. Pachter’s client list boasts many of today’s most notable organizations, including Bayer, Campbell Soup, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Chrysler, Cisco Systems, Cleveland Clinic, Con Edison, Microsoft, Moody’s, Novartis, Pfizer, Princeton University and Wawa. She is a contributor for Business Insider and is quoted regularly in newspapers and magazines, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and TIME Magazine. Pachter has appeared on ABC’s 20/20, The TODAY Show and The Early Show. Her discussion on business etiquette appeared in the Harvard Business Review. Pachter’s areas of expertise include presentation skills, business etiquette, assertive communication, business writing, positive confrontation, business dress, career development and women in the workplace.
