Becky Villareal, a retired teacher of twenty-three years, loves history and mysteries. That is what drew her to family history research that she incorporates into her children's book series, Gianna the Great, and young adult book The Broken Branches. She loves watching her grandchildren and writing when she has the time and continues her family research for her own family and others. Becky Villareal has presented at national organizations and libraries throughout the United States, incorporating her knowledge of children, writing, and family history research. Her goal is to share her excitement of writing and researching with students all over the country.
