Born in the suburbs of Boston, MA Brett Comeau has always had a love of books. His mother got him interested in reading when he was young, but it was a childhood best friend that lent him his first fantasy book that sealed the deal. His life became books like the Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance and Star Wars extended universe to name a few. Brett has had several professions over the years, including bouncer, cowboy, and professional poker player, but fantasy books have always been his first love. When he wrote his first book Nameless Vs. The Army of the Dead, he called on not only his knowledge of fantasy stories but some of the wilder experiences he had in different dangerous situations, including bar fights in seedy parts of town doing his poker player days to give his story a more "real" feel for a fantasy story. Brett lives in Harrisburg PA with his wife Linda and their cat Chrip. When he is not working on his next story, He is practicing martial arts or teaching Kickboxing at the local YMCA.
