As a cop's kid, Carol Carlson was born inside the 'Thin Blue Line' and now is both mom and mother-in-law to two police officers in Memphis, TN. Since 2015, she has welcomed hundreds of police family members into the world of law enforcement with guidance and support through classes at the MPD Training Academy, talking to recruits about how their jobs will impact their families, leading new police family orientations, and comforting many police mothers during difficult times. As founder and leader of MPD Moms and MPD Families in Memphis, and administrator of the national Facebook group, Moms of Police Officers, Carol talks with police moms from around the country every day. Carol currently resides in her hometown of Memphis, TN.
