Carolyn is a mom to one teenager and two cats. She's also a songwriter, a fair-weather jogger and Speech and Language Therapist with over 30 years' experience of working with children and their families. She is passionate about early communication strategies, and coaches parents and caregivers all over the world on how to best support their children's communication development. As an extension of her work, Carolyn is currently developing a series of upcoming books on how to support early communication for non-speakers and late talkers. The goal is to make early intervention strategies accessible to everyone, demystify evidence-based speech therapy techniques and give practical guidance to parents and caregivers. Carolyn has a knack for explaining in simple terms, and has gained a lot of knowledge about how to create lasting positive change. Her priority is creating the ideal communication environment so that children can progress naturally. Carolyn feels strongly about neurodiversity and believes there is plenty of room for all kinds of ways to connect, interact, play, and learn.
