My writing began by casting light and shade of thoughts upon the page. I was very young; I did this with music too. It has been said that my words carry an inflection of music. I am an award winning author and this was a gift given through my writing of the book 'Imagine A Healthy You' - a book for those in rehabilitation after injury; this meant on some level, that I had triggered empathy and alignment with the person reading. My latest book 'How to Fire your Husband in Easy Steps - A Miraculous Divorce' is a memoir, but not grim - a story that dovetails with the 'miraculous divorce' as the marker for my passion for parenting and the responsibility that lies therein, for those like me, blessed to have the privileged gift of children. My podcasts, beginning now, are based on the blessings and my next book 'The Glorious Subterfuge of Parenthood'. I feel as an author I can only be myself and that is of course what Non Fiction demands. The truth always catches the lie and though sometimes to reveal it, may feel a burden, it is the only way to live. I studied 'Writing for Feature' at The Metropolitan Film School; my film 'Be Brave My Sons' is near conclusion - it is a story of endurance for sons and for their mother - it's research took me into a hidden world of children traversing treacherous seas. I have twin sons and I continue to learn much from them; they arrived by IVF delivery on the first attempt and I am continually aware of their miraculous presence. After all, it is with the lesson and essence of our journeys that we all write and, it is my privilege to share my passion with you, in the hope that my words may resonate. With my love, Christel
