Before writing fantasy, I wrote poems using the pseudonym, Whitedog, getting published in The Book of Hope, The World Healing Book, and Seasons of the Witch. By day I worked as a mailman and by night I ran a poetry forum and played guitar in a rock band. I’m a firm believer in believing, as funny as that sounds. I can’t imagine where we’d be without our sense of imagination. We’re all born with it and create our worlds within it. I love dark chocolate, black coffee, and shelling along the Crystal Coast of North Carolina with my wife and our dog, Gizmo.
