Being a member of the LGBTQA+ community, D.C. Moore has found passion in writing stories that contain LGBT themes and undertones, allowing the reader to speculate and formulate tension on their own terms, as well as keeping a bit of suspense and horror in his tales to keep readers on their toes. Hailing from the Midwestern states, D.C. found a passion for writing short stories and songs throughout his younger years, even winning multiple accolades and awards for both. He has a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Lynchburg (Lynchburg, VA) and a M.A. in Anthropology from Durham University (Durham, UK). He wrote his first novel, “Reunion” in 2015 and finally found the courage to publish in 2022, followed by the sequel, “Retribution”, in 2023. D.C. enjoys giving his readers the ability to find themselves somewhere in the story and encourages them to reach out with their thoughts and ideas through his social media platforms.
