Dan Brotzel is the author of three novels - Thank You For The Days, The Wolf in the Woods and Work in Progress (co-author).
His memoir, Awareness Daze - his account of observing 365 made-up holidays and awareness days across the whole of 2022 - is out on audio in February 2025 (WF Howes).
Dan has words in Pithead Chapel, Slackjaw, Meta Worker, Ellipsis Zine, Reflex Fiction, Cabinet of Heed, Lucent Dreaming, Bending Genres and many more.
He won the 2018 Riptide Journal short story competition, was runner-up in the 2019 Leicester Writes competition, and was highly commended in the Manchester Writing School competition 2018.
