Born in Queens, NY, Dana Brownlee worked as a project manager and business strategy consultant with top firms before launching her professional development training firm Professionalism Matters, Inc. in 2003. She firmly believes that there's nothing worse than sitting through dry training sessions with little practical application so her business philosophy centers around providing sessions that are high energy and interactive with real tips that participants can use immediately! Her first book The Unwritten Rules of Managing Up: Project Management Techniques from the Trenches will be released by Berrett-Koehler on 2.26.19 (and will be available as a micro course as well). She has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, HuffPost, Entrepreneur, Forbes, Working Mother, Redbook, FastCompany, and other notable media outlets. A dynamic speaker, Dana has presented to audiences around the U.S. and globally. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband and two children.
